On the upcoming episodes:
179. The Best Laid Plans (a.k.a. This is Going to Kill Mom) (2)
Simon is reluctant to talk to Eric and Annie about his relationship with Georgia (guest star Rheagan Wallace). However, he eventually drops the bomb that they are having sex and that he's currently on academic probation for skipping classes to be with her. Meanwhile, Simon's situation helps Eric realize that the church should teach teens the importance of abstinence and he asks Lucy to lead a class on the subject. Also, Lucy and Kevin learn the sex of their baby, and Lucy starts to question her ability to be a good mother. Matt is worried that Martin is still broken-hearted over Cecilia and will tell her about Simon's new relationship with Georgia. Lastly, Matt chips away at Ruthie's unwillingness to apologize to Martin.
180. The Song of Lucy
Although she is worried about the lesson plan for the class she is teaching on abstinence, Lucy is excited when Eric tells her she is now the Associate Pastor and will soon give her first sermon. Meanwhile, during Simon's visits with Dr. Gibson (guest-star David Piel), he confesses that he has been using his relationship with Georgia (guest-star Rheagan Wallace) to block out the guilt he still feels about the fatal traffic accident. Lastly, Ruthie falls for a guy she meets in detention, Harry (guest-star Aaron Carter), a foster kid currently living in a county facility, despite Martin's reservations.
181. Bad Boys, Bad Boys, Whatcha Gonna Do
Eric, Annie and Lucy help a pregnant woman, Leanne, ponder the choice of adoption. The father of her baby, Charlie, wants to help, but at the discern of his parents Ty and Kay. They want their son to have nothing to do with Leanne or the baby and put the baby up for adoption. Lucy helps council the people (Marcus and Bernadette, Sunny and Jim) who are considering the adoption of Leanne's baby, but is mortified by their answers. Ruthie is angry with Simon about getting left out of his life.
Also, Kevin, Martin and Harry (guest star Aaron Carter; pop star Nick Carter's little brother) take Ruthie's sick bird that she found to the "Wildlife Center" after Ruthie accidently feeds the bird worms. Lastly, Simon reluctantly goes on a bike ride with the Justin, Paul's brother (that kid he killed last year).

This is how the episode begins----A debate is going on the high school hallway with Ruthie and Martin and other multi-ethnic students over the war in Iraq and other politcal issues like the unfairness the U.S is displaying by helping some countries more than others. In the conversation there is an African-American, Koran, Muslim, Native American and Sunni student talking at the same time with each other as well as others. Jill Dupree (Randa Sabbah) also returns in this episode.
